Pros

A product that could actually be useful, large clean office, good coffee.

Cons

The company literally has more managers, VPs and directors than regular employees and despite that nobody is responsible for anything. Rather than taking steps on solving problems the management prefers to have countless meetings where employees are told how lucky they are to work for such a great company and are expected to tell the management what to do to solve those problems. The software department is a mess. The developers have to write and implement their own requirements. And when things don’t work as they should, the preferred way of dealing with most problems is to justify why it’s not important to fix them now and defer them until further patches (which by the time they’re released will have a bunch of new bugs added). “No code ownership” policy means you will spend majority of your time dealing with other people’s messes and won’t get any credit for it. And if you happen to complete your assignments on time without adding any major bugs to work on later, good luck trying to get a clear direction on what to do after that. Most likely you will be given some task just to keep you busy and will be told later on that a feature you spent a week implementing was a “prototype” (that nobody had a chance to see) and has to be redone. Ultimately working there feels completely unrewarding and kills any desire to improve on the product.

Pros

None. This job will drain you, disrespect you, and leave you worse off than when you started

Cons

Dishonest pay cuts, no training, incompetent leadership, gossip, toxic culture, ignored employees, unrealistic demands, no profit, no future. The benefits are absolutely abysmal. This is, without exaggeration, the worst company I’ve ever encountered. If you’re even thinking of applying here, do yourself a favor and stop. Nothing about this place is honest, functional, or worth your time. Management pulled a shady stunt switching everyone from salary to hourly, pretending it was a raise. In reality, it was a sneaky pay cut so they wouldn’t have to pay anyone fairly. They are cheap to the bone and proud of ripping off employees. You’re hired for one role, but before long you’ll be buried under 15 others. Work that should belong to managers or leads is dumped on regular employees with zero training or guidance. Everything is “urgent,” everything is “top priority,” and you’re expected to deliver perfection in chaos. You’ll be criticized constantly, second guessed endlessly, and treated like a child who can’t make a single decision. No matter what you do, it’s wrong. The culture is toxic. Managers and leads gossip and tear employees apart behind their backs, yet act offended the second staff speak up. There’s no teamwork just finger pointing, blame shifting, and silence when you ask for help. Training is nonexistent, communication is a joke, and morale is at rock bottom. I routinely had to take work home unpaid just to avoid falling behind, because deadlines are impossible and leadership doesn’t care. The company hasn’t made a profit in years, and honestly, I can’t understand why investors are still here. At this rate, they won’t last. It’s a sinking ship, and every employee is disposable hence the name "Disposable technician" 98% of Employees have been here for less then a year and a half.

Pros

Good engineering team at the time, Very smart and capable individuals. Working with impactful technology.

Cons

Problem is that the CEO works remotely from Florida all the time and is disconnected from the problems and product. Sales team gets all of the recognition while the successes of the engineers and manufacturing team never gets recognized. In the time I was there the engineering team cycled completely, which is never a good sign. Most engineers chose to leave.
