Pros

The glory of the past is still visible (faintly) and few good people from the old team still work there.

Cons

Where should I start? [Strategy] The CEO went through at least 3 VPs of sales (and their teams) and I don't even want to think about how much was spent on that versus development / infrastructure. Next, he decided to layoff the development and test teams. In between, he made the VP of engineering and CTO leave, too. As of now, probably one or two developers are left (from the team that built the predictive platform and solution accelerator). [Benefits] Yearly salary increases, vacation accrual increases don’t happen. Unless you force the conversation, but not proactively. There is also this perception (in Aliso Viejo), that good developers wait lined up around the corner and are replaceable on a whim. [Operational excellence] Seriously deficient. No coherent policies/design for backups, VM host maintenance, software acquisition, hardware upgrades, network design and topology. Constantly asked to switch to a new demo or resurrect older demos.

Pros

I guess you could make a bit of money there now as they are desperately floundering to find a business model and lost all of their talent (by their own hand), but there aren't really any pros since they (essentially) shut down the Redmond Office

Cons

The CEO is a great talker, but really doesn't know anything. He can't pick a direction and exhibits unethical behavior - like recording phone calls. He's great at getting everyone pumped up about things but fails to deliver.

Pros

Not sure if this is a Pro, but somehow they have come up with funding for a product that barely has sold in 6 years. I'm not sure how they do it.

Cons

Other 1 star reviews are accurate. Barely any customers, and the ones that exists are so customized it's a consulting engagement and not a software sale. Rep turnover of over 100% annually... really... The 'strategy' is to sell prospects on solutions that don't exist (no customers, no references, and even a demo is hard to find). They were 'Big Data' with zero Hadoop customers, and now 'IoT' with no customers. The plan seems to be to take the buzzword of the quarter, and claim to be that. This company is the Titanic after striking the iceberg.

Predixion Software Response

Although many of our sales and business development reps have done very well with us, 2014 was the year to expand into new areas and we did bring in and then terminate a few reps from lower end tools companies who weren't capable of senior relationship selling. It should be noted that the negative reviews on this site are very similar and probably from the same person. Claims of Predixion having no customers are simply sour grapes, especially given that we have added over 20 customers this year alone. All other reviews are from excited current and former employees who are excited by the amazing technology, market opportunity and team. As for your comment to the CEO (starting the company in a bedroom and taking it to $100 Million valuation in 5 years), you've probably done much better than that and I commend you.
