Pros

- challenging and impactful work - a sense of autonomy - SMS is such an exciting and high-revenue channel - amazing, talented, and warm team - great product (continuous product updates and improvements) - 100% remote team

Cons

- can often feel like the goal post is always moving (typical with high-growth startups) - must be able to adapt and adjust quickly - aggressive company and team OKR's - lots of internal meetings

Incredible people held down by a great culture, and a real desire to succeed

Pros

Postscript has one of the best workplace cultures I've encountered, and that is despite being a remote-first company. I think everyone does an excellent job setting high entry barriers to ensure the culture stays strong. And that totally reflects in the type of person is at Postscript: driven, motivated to succeed, yet still humble. For the most part, some of the best group of people I've had the pleasure of working with so far in my career. The founders are 3 of the most employee-first founders I think I've ever met. They are all super accessible. Yes, they have high expectations of everyone in their company, but at the same time are super empathetic and want you to succeed. The will push for you to reach as high as possible. I trust them as I do some of my friends. And they work just as hard if not harder than anyone in the room. A couple other positives I can think of: they are on the upper end of compensation for high-growth startups (they are a YC-backed startup with some high end investors), remote-first, strong space (eCom marketing is surprisingly very lucrative), upward mobility, and super intriguing future with all the exciting work going on with AI.

Cons

I have always read about the typical arc of fast-rising startups and the growing pains they experience, but I have never felt that more than I have at Postscript. It is incredibly fast-moving with strategic priorities sometimes seemingly shifting without notice. It doesn't happen a lot, but happens enough for folks to notice. It's usually never without a reason or without strong conviction. The only con I can think of is to stay away if you're not comfortable with change, the startup environment, and/or putting in some extra effort to keep the ship afloat. The only constant here is change. I personally love that about Postscript as it keeps things interesting, but I can understand how it's not for some people,
