Pros

The medical benefits and dental plan is good and affordable. It's a close commute to home.

Cons

This place basically picks anyone off of the street and allows them to work here. When I started working here I made a phone call about the job opening and they didn't even ask me about myself before saying to just show up the next day. If you enjoy working like a slave for barely above minimum wage then this is the perfect job for you. Even after the company decides to keep you and make you permanent after being a temporary employee the pay will stay the same. The company does yearly evaluations where you are eligible for a raise, a whopping 3% raise which is the maximum raise they are allowed to give. I've talked to employees who have worked here for several years (more than 5 years) who are only making $12-13 an hour. It's very sad to see people having to work overtime every day including Saturdays just to be able to earn some extra money.

Thank you for your feedback. Our goal at Perma Pure is to grow our profits by designing and manufacturing products that help to make people healthier and our air cleaner. Profit growth is essential for any small company to remain in business. We have been fortunate to be able to consistently grow our business, add workers, and share the success with all of our employees earning bonuses. When we occasionally have short periods of peak demand, it makes sense to bring temporary employees on board so that we can smooth those peaks and provide steady work for our permanent employee base. Our wages are set based on a job’s requirements and responsibilities, and we review them regularly. And let me please correct a misunderstanding: annual adjustments are not capped at 3%, though that might be the typical rate in a given year, and adjustments can occur anytime during the year when individuals earn promotions and take on greater responsibility. We also offer a full package of benefits, including health insurance, 401K, FSA, and paid vacation and sick time, all in a growing business environment. Perma Pure is committed to doing things the right way – if you have ideas for how we can do better, then I would welcome the opportunity to talk with you. My door is always open. Sincerely, Rich Richard Curran President Perma Pure LLC

Pros

Some nice people to work with.

Cons

Strategies keep changing, they hire people from their jobs and then fire ever so often. Expanded too quickly during covid and then fired people when it came down. HR is unprofessional, Company is only focused on money. Short term thinking,
