Pros

Working with some excellent colleagues

Cons

CEO is volatile, supreme leader, will fire at will with no justification. Copyright is getting old and technology is way behind the times. He just fired a rep who was in the top three for sales. Prefers female representatives over male.

Pros

Most of the junior, "boots on the ground employees" are great. Some very promising product lines.

Cons

The ownership (owner) micromanaged to the point where they stifle success. The internal management structure is completely broken and there is very little effort to change it. Take one look at the new branding(2018), that should raise red flags.

Pros

Some of the employees (worker bees)are hard working, dedicated and smart and get their projects done, on time.

Cons

Inept upper & middle management, unknowledgeable about instructional curriculum issues, i.e. New Standards, on all subject, new standardized Online testing , dual immersion education, English Language Development and how those issues shape the customer's need for instructional materials. Their recent technology for letting customers see some sample products was CDs, recently more online resources have been added, the perception has been already made up by customer, there is no plan for rebranding. Very small marketing team, usually, overwhelmed and cannot keep up the demand for product development, launching, and overall maintenance. There is no research and development department, budget or personnel. Diversity is a new concept for this company 99% caucasian in the entire company and 100% in upper management, much better in gender 50% female in middle management. And it is a private own company.
