Pros

I started working at Pepper Source at the very bottom. I was a ex con working there as a temp at first until I was hired on full time. I started in the spice side of the company in production. I then worked as a quality control then worked myself into the chemistry lab as a lab technician. Then I was promoted to quality control supervisor . I only held that position a few months until I was promoted to assistant plant manager. I was in charge of second and third shift. Later I was promoted to plant manager. Pepper Source is a great place to work with the opportunity to move up in the company. Pepper Source is a good company and you get back what you put in. They have a point system but they actually give you extra money for just showing up to work. They give raises and what raises you get is based on your performance. This is a excellent place to work. All they of you is to come to work and do your job properly. I would recommend this company to anyone. I am no longer at Pepper Source do to my health. This company cares about the employees. They were there for me

Cons

The only bad thing I can say bad about Pepper Source is if you don't plan on going to work like you should apply some where else because they do have a point system. But that isn't something bad about the company because on the flip side of that they give you awards and money if you go to work like any adult would. But that isn't a bad on the company it is all up to you

Pros

It is a small company so you can get a feel for how the entire company works as an overview as opposed to a micro-view of a small portion of a larger company.

Cons

Being a smaller, private company, there are no specific set performance analysis by which an individual can guage if they are doing a good job. i.e. raises are not necessarily given based off performance, but rather a blanketed raise for the entire R&D department.

Pros

Pay was relatively competitive for the size of the company for higher level positions.

Cons

Ownership are kids who never had a real job in their lives thanks to daddy's money. A toxic culture runs through most levels of the organization. Appreciation is almost non-existent. Employee safety is shockingly poor due to the lack of executive and ownership support. I would implore any person interested in any management or executive position to strongly think against working for the Morse family.
