Pros

Overall employees are highly motivated and dedicated, the company finally began a policy to allow unused vacation time, up to a maximum number of hours, to carry over to the following year.

Cons

HR or senior management writes 5-star glassdoor reviews to boost the company's rating on this site. Divisions are understaffed giving employees heavy workloads, employees are payed below market value, the company has high employee turnover due to job dissatisfaction, no 401k matching, two weeks vacation and one float holiday are earned per year until you've reached five years of service, no earned sick time, expect a 3-5% yearly pay raise.

I’m sorry to hear of your negative experience, but I would like to provide clarification. Pennoni is an employee owned company (ESOP), which gives employees ownership of the company without investing their own money. In addition, Pennoni offers paid sick time, employer paid long and short term disability, tuition reimbursement, professional registrations, memberships, licenses and training. Vacation time, with experience is three weeks annually with the opportunity to buy a fourth week.

Pros

I was told this would be a good place to learn and it was. Different projects, good coworkers. But don't invest too much time. It isn't appreciated.

Cons

Stay for 2 years (more if you like who you report to and you're still learning), learn all you can and then move on because it's hard to move up, and to what? Division manager is the hardest, most thankless job there is.
