Pros

Flexible, supportive great managers and colleagues.

Cons

You can get very busy but not to worry as you get incentivised for overtime billable hours. Canadian pay rates might be under USA counterparts.

Thank you for this review, we value your feedback! We love the support you have received from the managers and colleagues, as a supportive work environment is one of our greatest attributes! Although our consulting positions are exempt/salaried, we do pay the equivalent of someone’s hourly rate for any billable hours over 40. A great way to earn money above an annual salary! Our Canadian employees have equivalent additional compensation opportunities and are paid in alignment with market standards for their positions.

Pros

Lots to learn, amazing team members, flexibility, trust and the list can go on.

Cons

Benefits could be better. Most of the growth opportunities require US residency. Not much in scope for Canada employees

We appreciate your time in leaving this review. We strive to provide a flexible, healthy, and supportive work environment, and it sounds like you have experienced a long list of these positive aspects of working at PayTech. At this time, our business model is such that our positions be located in the respective company that they work for, either PayTech in the United States or PayTech Human Capital Management in Canada. To date, the leadership positions in Canada have been filled with internal promotions as our philosophy is to offer growth opportunities to current employees. We evaluate our US and Canada benefits on an annual basis to ensure that we are offering competitive and affordable benefits in relation to other companies of our size and in our industry. We will continue these practices.

Pros

During orientation, every presenter (and there were many) are very welcoming and encouraging. Everyone is so positive and upbeat. I am looking forward to many years at this company.

Cons

The only con I have, is that the benefits are not comparable to what I have had previously.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this positive feedback! PayTech has created what we believe to be an exemplary New Hire Orientation program. A heartfelt welcome and providing tools and resources enabling success are at the top of our priority list! We acknowledge the challenges we face with benefits being a small employer, but we continue to benchmark well against companies our size and industry to ensure we are competitive with our offerings.
