Pros
- remote work is possible - company is connected to the paper industry and is therefore very stable with a client base that is willing to pay for value adding products - constant demand instigates technological evolution of everything connected to the production line (5g cameras, larger systems, faster lines, ai inspection) and any software that has to keep up with that technology. - good area to live
Cons
- 20 year old technology base that must be maintained and makes the adoption of newer programming models cumbersome - established products with critical features means rapid prototyping and 'the new hotness' is a no-no - proper testing requires interfacing with physical networks and hardware which can be challenging

I enjoy the people I work with on a daily basis. Smart and innovative. Large focus on Family and wellbeing
Cons
Smaller company = smaller paycheck. No benefits at all.
