Pros

-> Products had nice designs. Due to this being a bad experience for me I don't have any other positive experiences to add to this job.

Cons

> The managers horrifically bullied staff members including another managers e.g. calling them stupid, telling them to go back to school, mocking staff members on the shop floor, angry/rude communication to the point where staff members were quitting or wanting to report them to the area manager because they couldn't stand it. ->The job role involved repeatedly trying to sell products to customers. I wouldn't have minded this if it hadn't been the fact that the shop was so small and usually only consisted of a few customers at a time that I had no choice but to walk up to the same people over and over. This was made worse as there was usually a lot of staff, especially in the evenings despite being a small shop. Because of this customers complained constantly about being bombarded with staff members trying to sell them products, one customer even said that I was the 7th person to come up to them. This was hard to avoid as there were no other tasks to do as the shop was always immaculate, if you try tidy it anyway you were told off for making slight improvements. There was never a need for someone to be at the till constantly either - unless it was in the evenings of which there were even more staff therefore too many people so you were still stuck harassing customers as you had no other choice. -> I was even told by my manager that they would give me hell on my last day and that they would make sure I was put down for an extra day so I could do the late shift where I had to be alone with the manager, cash counting. This was said to me straight after I thanked the managers for having me work there.
