Below are the most important things for you to know about life at the Q. They are my own thoughts however I will say that I speak on behalf of many current, miserable employees who are afraid to speak up for fear of losing their job.
-Lack and/or CONSTANT change in directon (to the put where clients were complaining and thus the Q would lose out on revenue opportunity)
-Nepotism (CEO surrounds himself with people who agree with him/obey him and everyone else is wrong. There are also 2 people in upper management - who shall remain nameless - who are dating each other, which further perpetuates the aforementioned favoritism)
-Immaturity (LOTS of finger pointing, whining and laziness from CEO/VPs/SVPs. LOTS of people who just like to hear themselves talk in meetings yet nothing ever gets accomplished).
-Micromanagement (there is a severely concerning lack of trust and it comes from the top. As a result, CEO needs to have his hands in EVERYTHING and there is a significant amount of nit-picking over insignificant things)
-Barely profitable (it’s a red flag when a 10+ year old company is still dependent on funding to make ends meet. They did a huge layoff back in April 2017 and haven’t learned from any of their mistakes)
-Underpaid/overworked employees who get thrown under the bus constantly, verbally abused and wrongly accused on the reg. As a result, no one is motivated to do much. Can’t blame them - I was one of them - but it’s a reason why little gets accomplished.
I could go on but you get the point...
