Pros

Pay was decent enough Intelligent coworkers (for the most part) Some well-known clients

Cons

I was miserable at Overdrive, and I wasn't the only one. I would occasionally find someone crying in the bathroom because they were treated so unfairly. Employees are not respected, but are expected to work on a level well beyond their pay/title Management has open screaming matches that make everyone feel uncomfortable Location is pretty bad High turnover; a lot of talent has jumped ship because they're so fed up

Pros

* Fun culture - there are always work-sponsored events, awards banquets, an annual summer outing, and just a lot of really nice people to be surrounded with on a daily basis. * Compensation - account management gets paid well above market average for an advertising agency * Talent - There are so many great people at Overdrive Interactive and you will learn a LOT from them.

Cons

* Senior management is very tough to work with, which causes quite a bit of stress. Everything is important and urgent, and there is no respect or tact with which you will be asked to do something - even if that "something" is not part of your job description. And you'll do a lot of things that aren't within your job description. * There's no concept of "hours" or vacation time. You work all the time, and your vacation is secondary to what management tells you. You'll probably be working from your vacation. * Client base tends to get boring. A lot of technology/B2B clients. * There is no such thing as specializing on a client. Any given employee tends to have at least 5 clients to manage/work on, which gives no one any time to really learn about the intricacies of the client and apply as much as possible toward them. * WAY TOO MANY MEETINGS.... mostly with no set agenda or pre-read/to-dos, so a good amount of them are useless.
