Pros

I would like to thank Jessica Lee, Divisional Sales Trainer at Optical Express, for her outstanding support and guidance. When I joined the company, Jess played a huge role in helping me settle into my new position. Her training was clear, engaging, and incredibly helpful, giving me the confidence and knowledge I needed to succeed from the start. She is brilliant at what she does. She is knowledgeable, professional, approachable, and always willing to support others. Her passion for training and developing people is evident in everything she does, and she consistently creates a positive and motivating learning environment. To conclude, Jess is truly deserving of recognition for the excellent work she does. I am very grateful for all her help and support, and I have learned a great deal from her. Thank you, Jess,for making such a positive impact on my journey at Optical Express.

Pros

Great training especially at the start and never felt pressured. Day to day really well balanced and never a boring day of work. Support is great from regional managers and training manager also. Really recommend even if you have zero experience in optics like myself. Already in process of bringing in close relative to working here proving how well regarded the company is.

Cons

None really, travel occasionally can be difficult but you are really well communicated to about that and never over stressed.

Pros

In my 4th week at OE and loving it. Training has been great fun and comprehensive. I've had good training in Salisbury, Bath, Southampton and now at my base clinic in Bournemouth. The training is comprehensive and well set out. The Academy modules are excellent and all of my colleagues and managers have been encouragement, supportive and empowering, willing to answer any questions and give me the opportunity to progress at a good speed. Jess Lee an excellent trainer and has been most helpful. As well as Sue Whitston the Salisbury Manager. My colleagues at Bournemouth - Steven Cole and Clare Marie Gair have been very welcoming, patient and supportive.

Cons

Not really any cons. Travelling to different clinics was helpful, although I can see that intensive training in one place would also work well. It was good to actually see some lens replacement surgery and I would like also to see some laser treatment in due course.
