Pros

Open architecture, knowledge co-worker with good understanding of the business, good benefit.

Cons

Politics in communication/co-operation between departments. Process is not well defined and followed. Little training opportunity. Bad work/life balance. Deadline over quality. Management only gives what to be done, does care if/how it can be achieved. Lots of good employees were let go.

Pros

Better than being in the unemployment line

Cons

The old company was bad enough but when Open bought out Datawest, they found a trap door to go even lower. The only advancement is through brown nosing, there is no other way. It's full of the good ol' boys who protect themselves at the expense of the people that actually did the work. I say "did" because there's almost no one left that's doing work.
