During my interviews, leadership and upper management emphasized work life balance and how our health was priority. In reality this was furthest from the truth. Extremely understaffed to the point I was working late into the night most days and most weekends to meet deliverables. Attempts to address these issues were met with false promises of providing additional resources and were essentially swept under the rug for a long time. This was an extremely common theme of leadership to make empty promises to keep the status quo of working their employees down to the bone. Very low morale in general across all teams.
