Pros

-Pay is great for what you do. Working average 5 hours a day plus driving to your houses M-F; can take home $1,500 B/W. -Days where I only worked 3 hours and made $200+. -Can make upwards of $375 in one 7-8 hour day. -Always nice starting at 8 am and being done by noon on a Friday when you want! -Awesome in nice weather; loved it loved it loved it. -Get to see areas you wouldn't normally. -You decide how much you want to work and what hours you work -Never late because you start when you want -Townhouses & Industrial Warehouses are AWESOME!

Cons

-Team leads give out and load routes for you to do so there can be a lot of favoritism involved with that. One or two guys got good routes all the time while the rest of us got crap. Basically have to be best friends with the team lead to get good routes. I'm sure not all locations are like this though. -When you get injured, their "return to work plan" is absolutely brutal. -DOGS......you can and probably will get bitten at least once. -Rain.....it absolutely blows in the rain. Good luck staying dry. -The "rain gear" they give you is horribly cheap. You sweat so bad cause it doesn't breathe at all. The shirts stink when they get even a little damp. Cheap crappy gear. -Have to use your own vehicle -No compensation for fuel or mileage on your own vehicle; even when you are driving 150+ km a day round trip. That can make an impact on your earnings! -Have to read meters in some ghetto and sketchy areas -Management can be very disorganized sometimes -High risk of slips/falls/trips/ ankle injuries etc -No benefits

Pros

- Can make $1500 minimum b/w easily - Can be done in 3-5 hours if given good routes (which are only given to 1 guy regularly that is favoured by the leader) - Quite enjoyable in nice weather - No boss looking over your back - Work on your own, at your pace and do the job the way that you want - Ability to start and end the day on your schedule* - Get paid to exercise daily (do marathons) - Expect to make about 60k annually if you work full-time

Cons

- Favouritism from management which affects your pay and difficulty of routes - No paid sick days - Walk about 25 - 30 km's daily , even though they advertise 10 - 15 km's daily. - Very hard on your body (you will probably sustain a multitude of long lasting injuries) - Walking for 6 hours + in rain or snow - No benefits for new hires now - Poor vacation pay - Disconnect from workers to management at every level - Only will hear from management if a customer complains - Training only focuses on common sense instead of showing workers how to do the job most efficiently - Workers haven't had a pay raise in almost 6 years - The company doesn't care if you get hurt. They just care about covering their end. - No room for advancement - They tell you that you can make over 100k if you work hard. In reality, you must work every Saturday, must get the best routes (which are townhouses, new homes that are side by side and commercial buildings. These routes are kept for one guy in the group who is favoured by the team lead). - *You must work minimum 6 hours or until you finish your routes, even though the job is suppose to be piece work.
