      Good exposure to capabilities in the medical devicd industry

      The company has a history of nepotism and promoting the employees who constant berate other employees to make themselves look better. Management overlooks the lies of employees that are covering their tracks and destroys the honest, hard working employees who really try to make the place a better place to work. All departments in the company use the Medical Research Manager position as their scapegoat instead of actually doing their job. If you are honest, intelligent, driven and hard working, work anywhere else. This company will abuse you until you are defeated beyond belief.

      Thank you for your candid feedback. We acknowledge the Medical Research Manager position is one of great responsibility. The MRM role is multi-faceted and requires project management and leadership skills, as well as technical depth and client centricity. In order to support Associates in this critical role we have taken great effort to improve our technical training programs and to provide project management tools and training. Additionally, we have added a developmental position that prepares Associates for the MRM role, and now have a 30% internal promotion rate within the department. Through these efforts the Associate satisfaction scores for Medical Research Managers have doubled within the last year.       Easy Interview Food Trucks Sometimes Come In To Service Employees

      Complacent Management, No Enforcement Of Employee Policies & Procedures LIMS Computerized System Is Constantly Slow, Freezes, Or Crashes All Together Loud Music Coming From Order Processing Department That Disrupts Productivity Of Staff Order Processing Department Employees Have a Do-Whatever-They-Want-To Attitude and Are Hostile To Other Employees Which Impacts Work Performance Back Breaking Work and Long Work Hours Too Many Employee No Shows, Absences and Tardiness With No Consequences No Teamwork In Order Processing Department

      Coworkers become like family since you’re all stuck in the same (sinking) boat.

      Cons

      Supervisors and managers do a great job keeping their employees feeling like they do nothing. The supervisors do not understand the details of testing the labs do, and are not able to help when workers are stuck in the weeds with tons of work and no time to complete it. A good supervisor would be able to jump in and help when the lab is overworked, but NAMSAs supervisor are incapable and unwilling to do that. Due to the amount of work and extremely limited number of workers, errors get made at an incredible rate and management berates workers in front of coworkers creating a fearful and toxic environment, not to mention the gossip that happens between coworkers and management. Some of the gossip shared with coworkers has been confidential and caused rifts between workers (i.e compensation information). The only constant at this company is the amount of Nepotism here. If you want to progress in the company then make sure your relationships with the family members are great and you will be promoted quickly. Integrity is listed as a core value, but it’s not seen on all levels of the company. The computer systems are outdated and that leaves the company vulnerable. There is no work life balance with this company at a non-management level. If you want to take vacation time you have to plan things far in advance and make sure the entire department is on board with your days off. If you need to take a sick day you come back and face the consequences of spontaneously calling off from coworkers.
