Pros

- Solid Benefits - Only 2 Days in office per week (for now) - Generous PTO - Flexible hours due to regular collaboration with the COE teams in India

Cons

I had a mixed experience at MiQ, with some talented colleagues and solid learning opportunities, but overall it was frustrating. During my time there, much of my team turned over, creating constant disruption and uncertainty. One of the biggest challenges was the frequent shifting of priorities, with projects and initiatives often changing direction, making it difficult to feel that work was being executed consistently. There were also regular requests from leadership that felt misaligned with core responsibilities, contributing to a sense of wasted time and effort and overall inconsistency week to week. From an organizational perspective, decision-making seemed highly centralized, which sometimes slowed progress and limited autonomy for managers and teams. Exec Leadership frequently spoke about the company's positive culture and employee experience, but that messaging often felt disconnected from broader employee sentiment. Career growth and promotion processes were another concern, with an informal expectation that employees spend at least two years in role before being considered for promotion, and advancement often feeling tied as much to internal politics and visibility as to performance and impact. These types of promotion discussions were disappointing, with positive performance feedback not translating into clear or timely explanations regarding advancement decisions.

Pros

Salary comes on time (that's genuinely the only good thing) Good place if you have zero ambition and want to rot comfortably

Cons

The work is an absolute joke. Same 4-5 data feeds, same reports, same decks — copy paste since the company was born. Nothing has changed, nothing will change. If you have a brain, it will go to waste here. These people genuinely believe pulling data from 5 sources and making a PowerPoint makes them the smartest people on earth. The level of overconfidence from people doing kindergarten-level work is embarrassing. Campus freshers who have been doing this same boring work for 2-3 years will treat you like YOU are the junior. You come with experience and skills and they look down on you because you are "new." Absolutely disrespectful and demoralizing. This company is run by a small gang of managers and their favorite people. If you are good at politics and brown-nosing, you will thrive. If you are good at actual work, nobody cares. Management lives in a well like frogs. They have zero idea what the industry is doing outside their little bubble. They think their outdated way of working is the gold standard. It is painful to watch. They will humiliate you publicly for the smallest, most pointless mistakes. Not to help you improve — just to make you feel small. It destroys your confidence and your mental peace slowly. There is no learning. Zero. You will leave this company knowing the same things you knew when you joined, except now you will also have anxiety and self-doubt. Your mental health WILL suffer. The toxic culture, the politics, the constant humiliation and the absolute emptiness of the work takes a real toll on you.
