Inability for growth, worked there for 13 years, started as a baggage handler up to Assistant Operations Manager. 0Only moved up as per hiring binge as to accommodate new merger at Terminal, to be handling the daily operations whilet getting paid less then the people that you manage. Put into a management position, fine, but teach me something new instead of being the gopher for the staff who have entitlement issues, (they know they get paid more then you, so they don't respect you). On another note, they got benefits right from the start, while others
(customer service) who have been there longer make a lot less and no benefits. They were told they could note apply for the position of ticketing agent as they would be getting paid a lot less, and not to bother because we don't want you to go there as we need you where you are. Customer Service are also baggage handlers. Customer Service deals with everything at the terminal, while ticket agents sell tickets. Guess who does more work? Maybe ticket agents get paid more to deal with money and nothing else. Why not make everyone equal in pay then? Not in the budget? I guess it's our own fault for staying for so long, but the work life balance is what kept us. Thanks for listening.
