Pros
My first impressions walking in the door at MedMe was that this team was hungry to grow. They had more business than they knew what to do with and were tackling it headlong with enthusiasm. Everyone I worked with was passionate and caring and I had the privilege to help guide and grow the team while I was there. And they listened! There is no stick's in the mud here, just hard workers who want to do more! The opportunities here are tremendous, to grow in whatever role you take at MedMe. I really cherish the time I spent there.
Cons
The "too much business than they knew what to do with" bit was certainly an added pressure on the team. We were able to manage it fine, but it is something that needs tending to.

MedMe really encourages people to step outside their defined roles and take initiative, which creates an environment for learning and growth. They emphasize using AI to work smarter, and not just for technical teams with everyone encouraged to explore and integrate AI tools into their day-to-day. The culture is also humble and supportive; there’s very little ego, and people genuinely look out for each other. One of the things that stands out is how much everyone's opinion and voice is valued, down to the interns.
Cons
The workload can get heavy at times, and as mentioned in the pros, you're often encouraged to step outside your official job description to take on tasks or roles you might not have much experience with — which can be a great opportunity for growth, but also a bit overwhelming depending on the support you get. There are some communication challenges and growing pains as the company scales, which can make things feel a bit disorganized or unclear at times. Pay could be more competitive.
