Pros

Employee events. They will keep you employed if they like you and you don’t cause waves. They might work with you on work schedule. Let’s you take time off for family. Easy on vacation schedule. Paid shut down during Christmas and new year holiday(1 week)Lots of overtime. Competitive pay. Ask for the most you can get up front.

Cons

Poor benefits. No raises. No clear path to advancement. Hostile. Blames employees for failures. Task are not clearly defined. Some people work harder than others with no consequences which leads to hostility and anger. Pay is not fair and equal. Doesn’t support education for further advancement. Employees don’t learn new skills besides what they brought in. The environment is hostile here. If you aren’t family you are never going to move up. They don’t give regular raises. I haven’t received one in over 3 years. The management could care less about employees. The benefits are bad. Almost $1000 dollars a paycheck for family, no dental(dental is reimbursed and capped at $1000 and basically have to keep reminding for reimbursement). No matching 401k. They have a bunch of kids running the show and the production manager is incompetent. It’s very difficult to get the tools needed to do the job correctly and it’s very disorganized. The company has poor on time delivery and the employees are blamed for it.

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to offer a positive, collaborative, and enjoyable work environment for all of our employees and I am truly sorry your experience fell short of that. The past two years have seen big and exciting changes for us: we have purchased a much larger facility and new equipment, earned our AS9100, ISO13485, and ISO4001 certifications, and invested in the continued success of our organization. In regards to your concerns about the company’s finances, I regret that you did not have a clear picture of our company’s position and direction. We are working hard to improve our internal communication which is why we have lunch sessions with the CEO, monthly employee events, a suggestion program, and an open door policy. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you on how we can further improve our communication and culture. We know that our success is due to our employees and work very hard to make sure they are compensated at or above market value and I apologize that you did not feel your skills were compensated fairly. We have a company of talented, intelligent, and hardworking employees. As a management team we believe our employee’s success is the company’s success and pride ourselves on our extremely low turnover rate. Unfortunately not every employee will be a good fit with the company’s mission and we choose to let them go; however, we wish you the best of luck at any future places of employment.

Pros

-Company functions. -Paid holidays and paid plant shutdown for Christmas break. -Coworkers on the assembly floor.

Cons

-Constant non-private bickering of projects and deadlines that need to be met between supervisors and upper management. -Hypocritical comments from leads and supervisors to subordinates to stop talking to other coworkers (even though it's WORK RELATED) when they too also talk to other people for a long period of time when it is not even work related. -Disorganization of projects with deadlines being made last minute. -A lot of pointing fingers from supervisors and leads to blame others when something doesn't go as planned. -ERP system goes down/offline constantly throughout most days of the week (very frustrating). -Strict clock-in and clock-out times (even at break time). -Sharing of old and barely functioning tools. Difficult to ask for new tools. -Work morale is mostly at a low.
