Pros

Company is great at marketing and comes off as a "rocket ship" online. People will respect you for working there.

Cons

- Management is strong con. CEO does not seem qualified to run a tech company seems more like a better fit would be a marketing exec or writer. CEO also demonstrates lacks of respect for CTO role. (CTO is actually a real star). Management team as a whole is weak, and favoritism is strong. (ex: People with no experience / skills given executive / C-level power, employees pressured to spend free time with management, experienced employees seen as threat) - Product is loaded with technical debt. Made some poor decisions at the beginning and still paying for it. - Price point greatly outweighs value (and the teams knows it); however more time is spent correcting recurrent problems than adding new value points. - Employee churn. Management churns through employees at higher rate than average at startups ...seems employees are let go to justify product problems. -Market too small. Company has yet to crack this code, and not many attractive exit opportunities here.

Pros

Interesting product in a challenging vertical

Cons

Epic Mismanagement. CEO (Danielle) cares more about tweeting and cultivating her image than running the company (does this sound like anyone else to you?). The founders do not know how to run the business. Top executives are departing en masse: the VP Product quit, VP Marketing quit, VP engineering quit. The writing is on the wall. Stay away unless you like getting pink slipped within 90 days of onboarding

Pros

Company has a lot of visibility. Well respected when people have heard of the company. Benefits are pretty good.

Cons

The infighting and politics are insane for a company of this size. Just lost our head of product. Customers are leaving because they don't think the product delivers on promises. Roadmap on how to get to vision is in shambles. Architecture can't support where we want to go. CEO seems more interested in writing articles, tweeting, and speaking at events than putting out the fires at home. Many employees are looking for new jobs. Very unhealthy culture with the CXOs keeping everyone in the dark.
