Almost zero upward mobility potential here. Most people are pigeon-holed. Some Tribal Councilors can be very jealous and catty, believing whatever rumors float their way. Not a lot of emotional maturity among that group. It's like high school sometimes. Gossip is rampant. Tribal Council has a longstanding reputation for micromanaging various departments, even though most of them have never run a department before. Some will even go as far as to take entire responsibilities away from you so they can do your job instead of you. If you can handle these petty annoyances, this is a great place to work.

The department is quite outdated in processes, micromanaging very condescending and controlling environment. Upper management does nothing to help with this.
