Pros

Its a good place to get started and it pays the bills. Depending on who your boss is, you have a 50/50 chance of getting noticed or not. Whether that is a good thing is another matter

Cons

Management is lacklustre and substandard - fails to provide leadership during critical periods. Actions are contradictory and is often driven by internal politics. No clear benchmarks exist to decide upon promotion, and as a result, morale suffers and the churn rate is quite high. Without getting into it, there also exists questionable business practices bordering on illegality.

Unfortunately, there is little to say that is positive about this firm.

Cons

It is managed by a 75 year old despot who refuses to leave and ultimately continues to sign off on all decisions, the company is slowly dying and outmoded, innovation is a concept that is unheard of, and perhaps sadly of all, very good people with excellent potential are ousted if they don't suck up to the aged and tired CEO who is desperately trying to sell his company. This is the story of a company that is desperately trying to catch up with the times using desperate measures and one of a man who built his business kingdom and runs his private playground.
