      Pros

      - Management truly cares about and works with the employees. - Easy place to fit in and get to work quickly. - Mission of the company is very appealing. - Good compensation

      Cons

      - Growth is more difficult with a smaller company. In my field not so much a concern, but others may feel stagnant. I find that their are enough tasks and new projects that it does not bother me.

      Pros

      Management is very interested in providing steady employment for staff, despite the typical ups and downs of aerospace contracting. Challenging work, very smart, dedicated coworkers.

      Cons

      Lots of work backlog in production which is a double edged sword. Leadership has been in position for decades so not much opportunity for advancement at the top.

      Couldn't ask for a better place to work

      Pros

      Stimulating, challenging, rewarding with opportunities to excel in a niche field, building cameras for spacecraft, very few will ever experience. This is my dream job where talent not just appreciated but demanded, especially from my first manager, likely the best I've had in my career. Were it not for him, and the company HR, I would have transitioned to retirement following my 40+ years at UCSD.

      Cons

      Initially, none, but then went through a few years with a manager learning his job; now departed. Hoping for the best with some re-organization and it looks promising.
