Cons
Like any other company, it must make money to survive. The music software market is small and crowded with many participants and products. Remaining profitable can unfortunately lead to hard decisions about what products and which projects are most important. If something is not providing enough to the bottom line, then the cost of maintaining that piece cannot be reconciled and things have to give, products canceled, teams dissolved, and sometimes peoples' roles eliminated.
