      Pros

      Monex is overall a great firm to work for & a leader in the FX brokerage industry. The company is perfect for a driven (ie: money hungry), ambitious sales rep. A few of the pros: - Very good & comprehensive sales training - You have the potential to make a tremendous amount of commission - Insurance policy is generous - The company rewards employees who perform well - Office is in a great location - Everyone in the Toronto office is generally nice & fun to be around - Great opportunity to grow with the organization as they've recently expanded to North America

      Cons

      This job is an absolute grind & I would only recommend it to people who are dead set on getting as rich as possible. My reasons are as follows: - FX is an extremely tough industry to sell in without eliminating your profit margin or morals - Product is the exact same as every other competitor - You need to work very long hours (7:45am-5:30pm bare minimum) to be successful - Starting salary is meh - You probably won't be good enough at your job for at least a year to earn a dime of commission (but has the potential to ramp up very high very quickly) - Job is almost 100% cold calling - Most staff & operations are currently based in the UK, which makes for some large challenges. This is being addressed though & likely won't be an issue in the future
