Pros

Honestly can’t think of anything

Cons

Tense work environment. Everyone is doing the job of 3-4 people. Over worked and under paid. Swiss ownership but are kept in the dark by upper management in NY. No work life balance. Long hours with outlandish expectations. No growth or promotion potential at all. Over promises and under delivers always. It’s sad because the product is well made and great quality. Toxic and contentious place. This is all in regard to upper management as the employees are just pushing and trying to stay a float as unrealistic expectations are a constant. Hard place to work.

Pros

Small Family Oriented Culture Not corporate like other Swiss-Made watch brands Generous employee discount on product Strong Brand Values Work/Life balance more similar to Europe since company is owned by a Swiss Watch Group

Cons

Unfortunately the pros are also the cons. Too small of a team for the level of brand they’re trying to portray and become, start up vibes without the start up perks or cool culture. Money is managed very poorly, the wrong marketing investments are made. Employees end up overworked trying to fulfill what would equate to 3-4 positions in a larger more structured company. Patriotic & American Branding struggles and suffers from a very out of touch European Executive team based in Switzerland that advises the US office on decisions that don’t fit for the American market or demographic, the team in Switzerland is about 2 years behind on what’s happening within digital marketing & social media in America which impacts revenue potential. Things take too long to get approved because Swiss office doesn’t have the same sense of urgency as NYC culture. Turn over is high because the wrong things are being prioritized. Barry Cohen is no longer CEO, company is managed by a European team that doesn’t really understand the market they’re trying to sell to.
