Pros

Working together in one location definitely helped with collaboration. Transparency was great.

Cons

Time management needed to be A+ for every single person there otherwise it would affect the whole team

Pros

Working at LongerDays was a great springboard for my career. I learned a lot of things during my time there, but the most important were time management and working with clients. I went from someone who never managed an account a day in my life to someone who could seamlessly and fearlessly take on a dozen projects at one time--and do it well! The team is talented, the leadership is inspiring, and overall I feel like LongerDays was the best place to begin my career. The pay is decent for a job that doesn't require a degree, and it's a great place for those who don't have a formal college education but want to develop skills that they can take with them to other workplaces later.

Cons

In order to succeed in this position, it's critical that you communicate with the owner about your workload, otherwise its easy to take on too much without realizing it. There are a lot of great ideas at the company, but a small staff and sizable workload make it difficult to work on internal projects.

Pros

Owner wants to do the right things by the employees, but moves are too slow to retain employees that are valuable.

Cons

Mid-level management had their hands tied by low pay and lack of income.
