Pros

The people are great and the company is growing. Lots of fun perks and chance for advancement.

Cons

Still a bit of a start-up and based on ad sales so it can be a bit of a roller coaster sometimes.

Pros

For openers, we work in a very well designed state of the art office in a highly accommodating environment, including a kitchen stocked with all but actual lunch and dinner, and we are located in the heart of centralized and beautiful OC. The EVP of my division is superlative; he understands how to effectively balance the pursuit of short and long-term strategic initiatives through a focused, persistent and respectful management style. He has facilitated a keen and effective hiring process which has resulted in building the smartest, friendliest and most pleasant group of co-workers one could ask for. The sense of genuine respect and shared responsibility amongst team members is palpable and refreshing. In addition to our company providing outstanding opportunities for those ready to work hard to demonstrate their worth, I have consistently witnessed an unmistakable pattern of merit-based recognition in place, the way it should be. These rewards come in the form of financial incentives, promotion and the always important 'pat on the back', the latter coming in many forms, such as numerous fun team outings, tremendous parties and other festive and appreciative gestures which come from the top! If you are seeking a company where mediocrity is praised or where the CEO or other C levels lavish employees with undeserved laudation or whose demeanor is stoic and lacking a visible passion for success, you should probably pass us by. However, if you seek a cutting edge environment stacked with opportunities for those willing to look both on the horizon AND in the mirror toward the tangible and intrinsic rewards of self-directed success, I would suggest that we might be a great fit! (I've never been a fan of anonymous postings really hence I'm happy to represent LifeScript and my personal vantage here and to anyone who would care to reach out directly to me. Thank you!)

Cons

The only legitimate con I can really note is that we are pained by the inevitable symptoms which accompany rapid growth. However, I would much rather experience the occasional flurry, angst and shifting winds - all of which are necessary elements within a high growth and dynamic environment - than a sense of 'calm' stagnation.
