Once Good, Going Bad

Pros

Prior to 2013 this was a great company to work for, I would have given it a thumbs up. There is a great history here. Many people dedicated their careers to building this company. People used to matter here.

Cons

Previous owners handing company to family members with no experience who only see dollar signs and have no regard for those who have dedicated themselves to making the company a success. Company is playing the cost cutting game by firing long term employees. Company has become management heavy while sales are flat. Management is not experienced, not dynamic, not proactive. Managers spend more time on vacations than finding new customers or keeping current customers happy. Prognosis is grim.

Pros

The two owners of the company gets involved with associates and treats them well. Always at all meetings tells us we are like family. Once took the entire comapany on a cruise for a week. Those are great gifts. More important than that nice working conditions, clean, comfortable there. Training I always say is a never ending process so the time they train could be more.

Cons

they do not have sufficeint training when you first start. This could hold you back in the future.. I believe you are as good as your teacher. I could have excelled far more in the company if someone took the time to explain what I was doing. What the terms meant they used, specs and when they use them. It gets frustrating sometimes because you are just typing the order in and is by doing it over and over again they think is the best way. For me that is not the case.
