      No Clear Leadership, No advancement opportunities

      Pros

      - work from home - great work/life balance - nice people, no bad experiences with other teams

      Cons

      From starting here, things have gone downhill - many who I have spoken to (who left) can attest similar experiences. Very low pay. Not enough incentives to keep an employee eager to continue staying.

      Not a bad experience but limited salary, growth, and diversity.

      Great work life balance, including fully remote work for writers and editors.

      Cons

      Salary below industry standards. Limited opportunity for growth, despite hiring individuals with MSc and PhD for scientific positions. Not diverse. Management is a monolith.

      Great work atmosphere & room to grow

      Pros

      LabX Media Group is a rapidly growing company that has seen huge growth since I came on board less than 5 years ago. There are opportunities to both have a secure, stable role OR grow and advance your career in a particular area, should that be the path you want to take- with things such as formalized career plan meetings & mentorship programs available with senior employees. The company also has a fantastic work culture, with both in-person and virtual social events around major holidays, also mental health awareness month, Movember, casual socials on some Fridays, staff Xmas party, etc. There is also incredible flexibility from management & our HR team in terms of bringing in remote workers, given the nature of the workforce since the Covid-19 pandemic. We have seen a huge rise in fully remote or even 'hybrid' employees, allowing us to bring on tremendous talent from outside of our main office location.

      Cons

      Like with any job, there are stresses such as deadlines & heavy workloads at times, which- coupled with the rapidly growing client base and new brands / acquisitions can leave some employees feeling stretched in their responsibilities.
