      Pros

      This is a consultancy, so the work you do, the team you're in, and even your timezone heavily depend on the project you're assigned to. This can be both a pro and a con. Some people enjoy having different projects each year, while others may not, but this is inherent to this type of company. I believe Lab49 is one of the better consultancies in the Hungarian market. They have a nice office, support a lot of remote work, and offer a fairly competitive salary. Yearly raises depend heavily on the company's performance and market conditions. Sometimes they're better, sometimes not, but the company does make an effort to provide raises that keep up with the market, even for existing employees.

      Cons

      Career growth opportunities are quite limited, largely due to the nature of consultancy work, and you can reach the ceiling fairly quickly. While the company tends to provide yearly salary raises, the process behind determining the amount is not transparent at all.
