Pros

At its best, the culture is family-oriented and most of the employees are trying their best. Theresa is a great Director of Marketing and works very hard to try to make this agency a success.

Cons

The company does not share that the majority of them are related during the interview process and this would have been a huge red flag to me. The non-family employees are great but dwindling every day because of the amount that nepotism affects this workplace. The CEO is married to HR, the Director of Marketing is his daughter, and the Sales Director is his son. This causes an extremely unprofessional environment where it is impossible to succeed unless you are part of this family. The Director of Sales especially is extremely unqualified for his position (no previous marketing or agency experience), as well as having many complaints about his behavior and temper. There is no one to report this to because the HR person is his mother and the CEO is his father. Because there are highly paid family members that will never be let go, there are also significant financial concerns with this company and it is very likely that you will receive a pay cut while working here, as many employees have. There are talented people that work at L7, but unfortunately the undisclosed family dynamic makes it impossible for this agency to succeed or be a healthy work environment.

Pros

Good culture, many opportunities to take ownership and excel. It's a small agency and there is very little management overhead so decision-making is fairly fast and management is open to new ideas.

Cons

Lack of management infrastructure, inexperienced operational and HR staff, and nepotism (It's a family owned and run business) means things aren't always handled in a professional way.
