The environment is extremely informal and management is extremely disengaged. What's App is the primary recourse for communication and while casual group chats, IMs, and feeds are encouraged, the "open door policy" mindset is highly discouraged. Numerous barriers exist between employees and leadership communication, and cross-collaboration is forced and clumsy especially when meetings are canceled by upper management or forgotten altogether. The environment is super micromanaging with redundant busy work that could be avoided with communication and clear role clarification.
