My experience at the KROW was not as positive as anticipated. Despite the outward appearance of amiable people, there was a pervasive sense of superficiality. The prevalent micromanagement and inadequate support in delegation contributed to a challenging work environment. Transparency and organisational efficiency were notably lacking.
Additionally, the monthly "Room To Grow" 1-2-1 meetings, touted as developmental opportunities, fell short. They appeared more focused on adhering to protocol rather than fostering genuine growth or support. Despite the company's claim of being a supportive agency, there was a glaring absence of assistance during overwhelming periods, resulting in an atmosphere rife with stress and anxiety.
It's important to note that beyond the issues with management, the HR department itself proved to be highly ineffective. This compounded the difficulties faced by employees, contributing further to the overall unsatisfactory experience.
