Pros

- Good management. Strong trust between employees and management. - Good work-life balance. Generally doesn't experience crunch time. - Accessible by public transit. - Introverted work environment, which may or may not be a good thing. - Medical benefits.

Cons

- Legacy tech and work practices. - Feels like there are too few developers. Most projects are done solo. - Lack of documentation and the previous point means that there is a steep curve for new employees, especially developers who are inexperienced overall.

Pros

Opportunities to work with great and brilliant people, expand your skillset by learning various skills, adding value by impacting the company's overall outlook in the market and being part of an organization that has the potential to be a leader and driving force in industry.

Cons

Small company with big aspirations requires highly skilled people capable and willing to do much more than what their position demands. Success is recognized but not rewarded and growth financially and professionally can be very slow for industry standard.
