      Pros

      There is a stable flow of work, new projects come into the office several times a week. They prioritize quantity of work. Lots of happy hours and lunch and learns.

      Cons

      Work is boring, not a design oriented firm. KSS was dishonest during the interview process. If you look at their website, you'll see their markets are mostly K-12, Higher Ed, and industrial projects. Anyone with design ambitions would obviously rather be working on schools, but 75% of the projects at this firm are warehouses. This has only been exacerbated by COVID. KSS is targeting warehouses and I firmly believe this is the future of the company.

      Cons

      Very old school approach to architecture, top down management Low to Mid Salary Growing pains of becoming a larger firm Focus is mostly on the Philadelphia Office Hard to move up - Licensed Architects tend to move on
