Pros

This was one of the best teams I’ve had the opportunity to work with. The culture is built around genuinely good people who are collaborative, supportive, and passionate about what they do. I made lasting relationships and always felt like my coworkers wanted each other to succeed. One of JupiterOne’s greatest strengths is that employees truly feel like they have a voice. Ideas and feedback are welcomed regardless of title, creating an environment where people feel empowered to contribute and challenge the status quo. Innovation is a core part of the culture. JupiterOne is always looking for ways to incorporate cutting-edge technology, experiment with new ideas, and solve problems in creative ways. The technology itself has tremendous potential and a wide range of real-world applications, making it an exciting place to work for anyone who enjoys building something meaningful. JupiterOne also places a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Leadership recognizes that employees perform their best when they have time to recharge, and the generous holiday schedule reflects that commitment. The wellness and vacation reimbursement programs are standout benefits that demonstrate the company genuinely invests in the well-being of its employees. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and there are excellent opportunities for professional growth. Employees are encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and expand their knowledge across different areas of the business. I learned an incredible amount during my time here, and it’s a place where motivated people can grow quickly.

Cons

One area for improvement is an area of improvement for most companies, communication. The culture is so positive and supportive that, at times, people avoid difficult conversations in an effort to be kind. While well-intentioned, more direct and timely feedback would help individuals and teams grow faster and solve problems more effectively. Like many innovative companies, finding and refining product-market fit continues to be an ongoing challenge.

Pros

I really enjoyed my time at JupiterOne. It was one of those environments where you genuinely felt trusted to take ownership, bring ideas to the table, and create things that could actually make an impact. I always felt like leadership was open to feedback and willing to support new ideas, which made it easy to get buy-in and move things forward. The culture was honestly one of my favorite parts. Everyone was supportive, collaborative, and enjoyable to work with. There were a lot of people who cared about the work but also cared about each other. Overall, I’m really grateful for my experience there and everything I was able to learn and contribute during my time with the company.

Cons

The pace can be fast, which may not be the best fit for everyone, but if you love the start-up thrill you will love J1!

Pros

You will work with the smartest folks in the business, no question. There are multiple people in this org that have been in this space for decades + that truly take a lot of pride in this product and have dedicated themselves to building a rocket!!! There is a “no jerk” policy at J1 and everyone is really nice. Nice certainly isn’t everything you need in a team, but this team WORKS as a team. It’s fluid as everyone supports each other and everyone is extremely customer committed above all else. The vibe from the moment I started is “everyone has the same goal” and I cannot think of one person in this company that does not hold true to that. Paul Forte is the best there is… personally, professionally, he is unmatched. He treats everyone as equals and as teammates, but also leads with grace and positivity. Don’t mistake his positive outlook as a lack of understanding of reality. He makes necessary moves to support the organization as a whole towards a common goal. He’s an excellent leader all around. The benefits are good…. Insurance is SOLID! $2k vacation expense after 6 months + a ton of perks. Can’t complain at all with this package. You aren’t micromanaged here… you’re supported. Nobody has the time nor desire to babysit. If they hire you, they trust you to get it done and support you along the way.

Cons

Think about how many start ups don’t make it…. This one is making it and the proof is in our customers! Was there a rough patch? Yeah, no question about it, but it’s the shift and recovery that matter. It’s the leadership and strategy that matter. They figured out the issues, shifted gears and made changes. What else can you ask for? Every company goes through it, but you MAYBE hear about 1%. This is the reality of risk and reward. There is no where to go but up with this product and this company.
