Pros

- if you asked me a year ago i would highly rate this company but since the onboarding of new leadership any pro’s this company once possessed have been replaced by disgusting and illegal employment practices.

Cons

Before you accept a job at Jitterbit i would strongly consider the below: - If you are a Canadian seeking employment i strongly suggest you steer clear. Their HR and leadership members DO NOT adhere to Canadian employment laws and standards. When confronted they will gaslight and intimidate employees into thinking that they don’t properly understand the ESA. - Direct reports are treated with zero respect. CSM’s are belittled and degraded. Openly discriminating against employees based on their age, making belittling and degrading remarks and purposely setting the team up to fail due to a dislike of the team that has been inherited is not only disgusting but is unacceptable behaviour - There is no career growth. Existing employees are told that they require 10-15 years of experience when active job postings list 3. There is no interest in retaining or advancing current talent. - new executive leadership came in at the beginning of the year and has been systematically shelling out the company. The new leadership team have all previously worked together and have ruined the inclusive company culture Jitterbit once boasted. There have been a number of favouritism hires and promotions. - You will be judged against Jitterbit’s core values but the same does not apply to the exec. Team. The CEO is unable to form a sentence without derogatory language. He openly belittled employees at an SKO event in dallas. - Jitterbit believes that they do not require just cause to terminate your employment - stating that they are an “At will company” (which again is illegal in canada). Layoffs have been happening monthly since the new leadership team came on. - important information to prep for meetings will only be shared with select individuals and other team members will be provide no information. This means that a large majority of the team is unable to come prepared to meetings and forecasting calls. The team is then berated for being “unprepared”. If you stand up for yourself in a professional way your job will be threatened for being uncollaborative. - a number of false complaints against individuals on the team were made. Upon investigation the sources all confirmed that the complaints were fabricated. This is a malicious and disgusting tactic to push out existing talent due to her own personal dislike for direct contributors. - Even if you keep track of all of the opportunities you have closed you expect that commission will not be calculated fairly. They are uninterested in discussing/reviewing the discrepancies in their reporting even when brought a paper trail. - There is little to no care for existing customers and customer satisfaction. This company runs via the blame game but they are never at fault. They see customers as an open wallet and instead of listening to and trying to understand frustration and pain points they will tell reps to try and sell an already upset customer more services. - the new exec team is more focussed on a re-brand of failing products/services so that they can sell the company rather than customer satisfaction and success. They constantly harp on the churn numbers being so bad — maybe try listening to your customers.

Pros

- decent benefits - good work/life balance - weak deadlines, projects constantly miss target (not much pressure to complete on target) - low expectations from management - don't worry about bad performance reviews since the results are also meaningless

Cons

- directionless, schizophrenic management - middle management talks behind the backs of their subordinates and each other - lack of interdepartmental cooperation - no processes - complete lack of transparency - compensation below industry average with no pay increases or bonuses (except for sales) - extremely high turn-over

Pros

- Remote work - Decent work/life balance - Nice people on the ground level

Cons

A couple years ago, I would have said this was a good place to work. Unfortunately, that’s gotten less true as time goes on, especially recently. New management came in last year and made sweeping changes. Freezing salaries, removal of bonuses and layoffs every single month for all of 2024 means teams are smaller than ever. Direct managers/team leads are not notified that their team members are being laid off and there is no transition process in place for any of the work, so they are left scrambling to pick up the pieces. As you can imagine, this hurts customers more than anything. Low employee morale is apparent across the company with most people fearing for their jobs. Any sort of company culture has vanished. Upper management is only concerned about the numbers and throwing around the term “AI” at everything (which, if you’re wondering, has barely made an impact on any real processes). I would not be surprised if the company is sold in the next year.
