Pros

Decent pay Good bunch of people Great opportunity to build knowledge, skills and a foot in the door of legal sector Can have very productive interactions with some callers

Cons

Incredibly fast paced (call after call after call) some days Understaffed so very busy Draining hours and constant pressure from managers to go ready/answer calls when doing admin etc. virtually no time to do anything else You need to know myriad intricate caveats of clients policies - impossible not to make lots of mistakes and to get everything right Callers can be rude, entitled, barely audible and stupid. Incredibly high turnover - it’s a call centre at the end of the day with the ability to gain legal skills/experience Pay isn’t actually that great due to 45 hour per week plus out of hours work, nights, weekends, bank holidays etc.
