    Pros

Good company, that is arguably the best in its small industry. Opportunity to both analyze and client face which is a plus.

    Cons

Need to better incentivize employees and automate the current manual reporting process.

    Pros

I worked at Ipreo full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Parts of the Raleigh culture are great: community-oriented; fun office; flexibility for WFH Some of the IHS influence seems to be for the better, benefits-wise. And it seems like the IHS Markit influence will teach the legacy Ipreo how to be more grown up.

    Cons

Ipreo legacy is behind in salary compensation. They are losing talent because of it. They have too many managers, not enough leaders. "Manager" or "director" shouldn't be the next level of promotion unless you know how to properly communicate with people. Much of the leadership doesn't listen to employees. It's been an ongoing initiative, but it rarely felt as if they were doing anything about it realistically. Development and reviews are lost on many of the directors and some of the managers. Taking a class and checking a box is not the same thing as sitting down with someone and talking through the development. There shouldn't be surprises in reviews, but this happened all too often while I was there to myself and others I have spoken to.

I worked at Ipreo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - It is a job, not a career. you won't improve your skills as much as you will do more work. It is good for a 6 months - 12 months, not more than that. - growth is very slow - you lose your 401k match if you stay less that 3 years at the company

    Cons

    - A company that has poor standards is a bad company in my opinion. a company that don't pay bonus for employees who resigns before the bonus payout which is March 15 of the next year is a shame. Even if the bonus is earned and the employee spent 12 months+ at the company, they won't pay out the bonus. I am writing this review and hoping (I doubt) someone will read this review because you cannot ask your employees for loyalty and hard work with such treatment.
