Pros

There are lots of great opportunities to grow professionally at IK. I've been able to collaborate with different teams, which means I'm always learning something new. I am given the freedom to own my projects and see my ideas actually come to life. Plus, the leadership is approachable and genuinely open to listening to feedback and ideas.

Cons

Being fully remote can sometimes make it harder to connect with teammates.

Pros

I worked there long enough on go-to-market side. Worked closely with founders and many managers. Pros: Soham. One word, Soham. He is the brain, the heart, the soul, the culture of the company. He is quite, but deeply insightful. Also very very straightforward, and truthful, sometimes feels bad. If you want to learn the business, go work with Soham. Curriculum. Every savvy customer I have talked with ravvvves about their curriculum. They also have some poopy curriculum, but generally it is very good. No wonder, because Soham manages that. Fast improvement. They improve many things very fast and learn. Soham manages that also and asks everyone to learn fast. Selling. Aggressive selling is what they do. It has very bad practices but it works. Ryan manages selling.

Cons

Finance keeps making promises and does not deliver. Talks about esops and gives wishy washy answers. There is no such thing as a budget. Ryan. Just a guy with a grandiose self. He thinks he is a founder but he is not. Talks a good game and knows how to fool you into believing anything, but doesn’t know nything about the product. Talks like a consultant all the time. A lot of faaf. Also contradicts himself all the time and confuses everyone. Makes you meet at his time and does not show up. Cannot rely on his word. And cannot take product advice from him at all. He gets it wrong most of the time. Soham saves the meetings when he messes up. You can learn only selling from him.

Pros

1. Completely remote job 2. Peers at the same level are awesome (not managers)

Cons

1. Every single manager I've encountered is manipulative. But the worse part is they believe that they are doing it in a subtle manner but they aren't. It's obvious whenever someone manipulates. In fact all the managers who are involved in sales are manipulative. Almost everyone in the sales team knows this. 2. They claim a success rate of 95% for the clients and they say that they have only 2 seats left in every single webinar. These numbers are totally wrong. This is only to short circuit the thinking process of the attendees so that they can pay. 3. Managers believe in the 'stick and carrot' approach and they believe that people who do poorly should be shouted at. Extremely old school and an embarassing thing to tell anyone outside. 4. Poor hires. They explicitly said that they have reduced the bar of hiring and it reflects in the entire attitude of the members. 5. Lots of carrots but none harvested. They make a lot of promises but only to get what they want. Nothing is given back in return except a mediocre pay. 6. All the Program Advisors are treated like lowly people.
