Pros
Occasionally decent coworkers. Some opportunities to learn hands-on. Take home truck.
Cons
Working here was one of the most frustrating experiences of my career. Management routinely altered time entries without explaining why — and when they made a mistake, it could take days to get it corrected, if at all. They rarely responded to calls or messages but had no problem micromanaging every small detail of your day. The double standard was blatant. If a technician made a mistake, it was immediately addressed with criticism or write-ups. Meanwhile, management could make ongoing errors without consequence. It created an unfair, toxic environment where field employees were left unsupported. Nepotism is alive and well at ICS There’s no port-to-port pay, which means you’re driving unpaid for long stretches every week. Scheduling was also inconsistent, and at times there simply wasn’t enough work to rely on a steady paycheck. Company app was altered so it would automatically take out 30 minutes out of your day for lunch weather you took it or not which is illegal in addition to loosing 30 minutes at the start and at the end of the day for a total of 1 1/2 not paid everyday. To top it all off, employees were pressured to write fake 5-star reviews online just to boost the company's image — a clear sign of how much they care more about looking good than actually being good. Company only cares about profits instead of investing in their employees Avoid this place if you’re looking for a stable, honest, and supportive job in the HVAC field.
