Pros

Team is very helpful and easy to get along with. Software is extremely flexible and very well documented. Hours are great, with excellent work-life balance. Clients are generally quite nice and easy-going. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

The flexibility of the software means that there is a lot of complexity and moving pieces, including some custom pieces for individual clients. Subsequently, it can take a while to build competency and really feel confident in supporting the platform. That said, there is a ton of documentation and team as a whole is very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions for those who ask.

Pros

I have been with IntelliTime for over 8 years and have worked previously for large companies like Microsoft, Hewlett, Rockwell Collins and start-up companies like ContentGuard. I started at IntelliTime as a contract developer, was promoted to a full-time developer, and then promoted to Vice President of Engineering. IntelliTime has been a great company to work for because: 1. The owner has always done his best to take care of staff and their family when they have needed it the most. 2. We are given the opportunity to drive our own growth where extra effort, dedication, and great attitude that help sustain and grow the company and team are rewarded. If you come here and treat the company as if it were your own, giving extra effort to sustain and help it grow and assist our customers, it will return growth and sustainability back to you. 3. We are given the opportunity to take on as much learning and responsibility as we can execute on. This allows us to advance our skills and experience at a fast past (if desired). 4. We are given the opportunity to be more than just technical engineers but instead get exposed to what the market and business challenges are and what we need to do to have successful projects in the real world. 5. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the domain, customers, the product, and is always willing to pass that knowledge to the team. If you are interested in learning and growing, the feedback is very helpful in making us better and better. 6. We get to work on challenging and diverse projects that that provide skill and experience growth and a deeper understanding. 7. We get to work on the full software stack and the full software life cycle which makes us very well rounded and capable of taking an idea all the way to a stable and sustainable solution in production. 8. We have had training projects that teach new skills and provide a benefit to the company. 9. Everyone at the company is always willing to help one another. 10. Management is always available for discussions. 11. Paid medical and dental benefits.

Cons

Best results come to those that are looking to grow, contribute, learn from feedback and challenging projects, and always looking to do their best.

Pros

IntelliTime is a wonderful company! New employees have a 90-day training program to help learn the fundamentals followed up with a supportive team of coworkers and management who are there to assist and walk you through new situations. Growth within the company is highly encouraged. Personally I started as a project manager, promoted to a senior project manager and then again to the customer support manager. For my first 5 years with this company I worked in the office. When there were changes in my personal life the owner was very accommodating provided me the opportunity to work from home. Working remotely has been a great experience for me and has not put a cap on the growth of my career. My last promotion 3 years ago was while working remote. I typically work 40 hours a week and during this time I work hard, but this allows me to enjoy the rest of my days with my family. I know a lot of companies expect you to work 50 hours a week. Personally this would not work for me, so I feel very fortunate to have a company that supports my work-life balance.

Cons

It would be nice if we had a option for 401K.

That is a great suggestion. We had one years ago but the employees were young and will live forever and so only myself and one other employee actually contributed. The plan was judged top heavy every year I was given back 70% of my contributions. Would definitely do again if at east 50% of employees would participate. For now most employees have a self directed IRA, and do not max out the yearly contributions. I am open.
