Pros

You get the chance to work on a variety of digital marketing projects, which can help build your experience. Some coworkers are supportive and collaborative.

Cons

The work environment is highly stressful and toxic, with little concern for employee well-being. There’s almost no meaningful support for employees who may need accommodations. Accommodations are either ineffective or disregarded, and management shows little interest in improving the work culture. Expectations are often unreasonable, with a heavy workload that far exceeds the compensation offered. I'm talking living paycheck to paycheck and barely making ends meet while the company president vacations every other week. You could be a loyal, high-performing employee navigating a toxic environment, and the president’s response would be... well, more work for the same meager, far-below-industry-standard pay. He runs the company like a middle school clique: if you didn’t drink the company Kool-Aid and worship the ground company president walked on, you weren’t just left out—you were gaslit into thinking you spilled it. And the gaslighting didn't just come from him, either; there are plenty of loyal cronies willing and eager to make you feel like you're the problem. IDG’s idea of leadership seemed to involve selective enforcement of office policies, shifting expectations, and the kind of “company culture” that makes HR departments and legal counsels nervous. In a nutshell, if you're looking for a work environment that fosters equity and inclusion, look elsewhere.

Pros

Diverse team & plenty of company parties

Cons

Unprofessional, harmful, toxic work environment. Overworks employees for mediocre pay with a sad lack of industry knowledge. No room to grow in your career. The “family” they want is a disregard for boundaries, making extremely inappropriate comments (racism, discrimination, flirting, nepotism), using scare tactics/personal life situations against their employees. A week here feels like months because there is nonstop drama on top of endless work. The CEO takes a vacation every other week. You are better off being a part of a different organization, this place is an example of a toxic relationship filled with trauma, gaslighting, invalidation, etc.
