Pros

Pretty good pay. Work-life balance is usually great with a few exceptions for high season. Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Fairly difficult to move up internally, though strides have been made to improve this. No comfortable way to report HR-related incidents. Leadership issues on c-suite level.

Pros

Pay well, fully remote, great coworkers

Cons

Job stability, there have been layoffs every year for a while now. There is also some clear favoritism from leadership which will impact your growth.

Desperate need for HR

Pros

All employees work remotely, which is great in allowing for flexibility and autonomy depending on who your manager is. Salaries are pretty good for some positions. Unlimited PTO!

Cons

There's a real lack of professionalism all around. Without HR, employees are left to their own devices and that has lead to a lot of inappropriate behavior, microaggressions, and lack of accountability from the lowest ranking employees all the way up to ownership. IMC is loud and proud about being a company that celebrates diversity, but they are quite the opposite in a pretty insidious way. There is also very little room for professional growth/development because the agency is so small and they don't tend to promote within.
