Pros

There are a number of smart, talented, cool people there, but I'm at a loss to recommend anything specific about ICR as a company.

Cons

I have never had an experience like ICR, and I hope to never encounter a workplace as toxic for the rest of my life. As a PR person (not IR) I was quickly rushed into the position, with my hiring manager threatening to rescind my job offer if I didn't start before giving my previous workplace a full two weeks notice. Assuming that was an isolated incident I still took the job, only to be met with an absolutely shocking lack of professionalism at all levels. First and foremost the office is a disaster. Bland and quite, every employee is separated by high cubicle walls, discouraging any human interaction or community building within departments. There is no accountability for workload, with people often pawning work off onto junior staff members only to take the credit, thereby making the junior staff look incompetent and lazy while they do the vast majority of the work. This all feeds into a high amount of favoritism, shielding staff with the right "attitude" from any criticism, regardless of their actions. Lastly, there is no work life balance. If you're not glued to your phone at all times you're going to be spoken to, regardless of whether you're on vacation, at a funeral or deathly ill. Meanwhile, HR is totally incompetent, often going as far as to deride people with serious issues regarding the workplace. HR is supposed to advocate for the employee, not the bottom line.
