Pros

You will be eligible for food stamps. The new hires are usually nice. You meet a couple of genuine people!

Cons

You're lied to from the interview process all the way up until the day you quit. You slave for 50+ hours a week only to be paid in crumbs. You're forced into a cult-like "atmosphere" for morning "meetings" which is used to help brainwash you. You have to drive all across the city, uncompensated most of the time. The rest of the time you get a $5 gas allowance. Theres no marketing involved. Just a whole lot of direct sales.

It's not marketing, it's entry level sales

Pros

If you're willing to stand all day hustling infomercial products, you can make some money.

Cons

It's 10-12 hours a day worth of work to make quotas, and they prey on young, inexperienced would be marketers, when there is no marketing involved. This is entry level sales, not marketing.

Pros

The people that I interacted with through out the process are nice, genuine people.

Cons

The locations, method of "marketing" the product, unorganized. I really felt like I was being sold the position, the interviewer seemed desperate to have me (which is great to feel that way) but usually in my opinion I feel like I should be selling myself as a candidate.
