Pros

Perfect place for beginners looking to be introduced to coding. Instructors are very helpful and divide a lot of their time among the students during working time to ensure every student's progress. The staff were patient and worked very well with kids. The groups lessons included in depth explanations for beginner concepts. As an assistant instructor, this job was new to me and I received a lot of help through my colleagues.

Cons

Significant advancements aren't as quick with Hatch (more time spent on perfecting more simple components before progressing) than with other programs. This is to be expected, however, as Hatch is targeted toward beginners and during group lessons some beginners may need further detail on how concepts work rather than moving on to more advanced concepts.
